Fees

Daily rate: £90* (from 8:00am to 6:00pm)

Hourly rates
Within a day on a full day contract: £9
Children 1 – 3 years old : £10 per hour adhoc hour (minimum 5 hours per day)
After School age children: £10 per hour adhoc (minimum 2 hours per day)

Overtime:
Before: 8:00 am £10 per hour
After 6:15 pm £10 per hour.
Pre-arranged Emergency Overtime after 6:15pm for a late collection: £10

Additional Fees: There may be additional charges for extra curricular activities such as forest school or certain outings. These will be optional and careful consideration will be made to find affordable options.

Registration fee: The retainer is £120 paid on registration day (non-refundable if you cancel the placement). This will be used towards three settling sessions, admin work and the child’s spare clothes bag and nappy box, which we provide.

* Fees are reviewed annually in line with inflation and minimum wage increases.

Fees for All Contracts

Unless stated otherwise, the following fees are applicable to all contracts:

• Childcarers annual holiday (runs January to December): 15 working days or 3 weeks at full fee. Dates will be confirmed at least 8 weeks in advance.
• The days will be pro rata based on the childcare days contracted. If parents are only using the service 2 days they pay 6 days of the holiday of the year, 3 days will pay 9 days, 4 days will pay 12 days, 5 days will pay for 15 days of annual leave per year. Occasional staff training days may be necessary.
• The balance of the holidays are due at termination of the contract if the contract is terminated before the calendar year.
• If the contract starts midway through the year then parents are only liable to pay the pro rata days of that calendar year’s holiday until we start the next year.
• Parent’s annual holiday: Full fees as our setting will be fully functioning for the other children

Absences:

• Child not attending due to child/parent illness or holidays : Normal fees
• Sickness of Childcare staff: No fees
• Child/Parent occasional days off : Full fees
• Childminder occasional days off/training days: No fees
• Bank Holidays: We are closed on all bank holidays but normal fees apply.

Payments

Payment in: Fees are to be paid monthly in advance at the beginning of every month by cash, vouchers or direct transfer to our bank account and any adjustments or additional items, will be due immediately by cash or may be included in the next monthly bill by negotiation. An invoice will be sent out around the 20th of every month.

Late fees will apply of £10 a day if payments are made late after reminders, at the discretion of the management.

After School Agreements: All fees are to be paid so they clear in our account by the 1st of the month or alternatively, paid by cash by the 1st of the month.

Notice Periods

For Holidays: 4 weeks in writing.

Termination of contract: 8 week’s notice is to be given if parents wish to amend the contracted days the child attends, or to terminate the contract.

Casa Tierra can also terminate the contract with 8 weeks notice.
